Impromptu Work in Michigan

Hey all! Yes, it’s been a while since I posted…and that’s because I’ve been BUSY! Since I last wrote I’ve traveled halfway across the country! I’ve had the opportunity to catch up with lots of good friends and to take SO MANY PICTURES throughout my journey (don’t worry – many posts to follow!)

During a short stopover in Michigan to visit one of my best friends (hi, Kimiko!) my wonderful friend unfortunately was on the night shift (if you all didn’t know, med school students are BUSY people.) Luckily, it gave me time to hang out with Kimi’s fabulous roommate, Jenn!

While toiling around the apartment, Jenn asked me if I wanted to go to the mall with her. I asked her if she had anything in particular she needed there, to which she responded: a headshot for residency applications (yes, Jenn is also in med school – my friends are smart :)).

My response?

“A headshot? You do know I’m a professional photographer, right?”

Flash forward five minutes later and I had set up two standing lamps with a white sheet over them positioned in front of a window. And voila!

Not bad for a spur of the moment photo shoot! You were a fabulous model, Jenn!
