Last week I had so much fun getting together with my friend, Jackie, and her fiance, Brian, to take some photos for their Christmas cards this year!

After being introduced to the fabulous backdrops available in downtown Norfolk during Rachel and Jason’s engagement session a few weeks ago, I couldn’t wait to go back to discover all the nooks and crannies in the area we hadn’t had time to explore…ergo, it was definitely time for a trip back to Norfolk!

I met Jackie and Brian about 30 minutes before sunset – the perfect time to capture the stunning light cascading over the water and surrounding parks and gardens.

How cute are they??

Not only that, but they are truly experts at making each other laugh. They had such a blast just hanging out together, it was easy to see that they are a perfect pair <3.

It was a little windy! Jackie’s hair was FLYING!

Jackie and Brian LOVE having their pictures taken and were natural models. They made my job super easy – I barely had to pose them at all – this was au natural!

By the end of the session it was SO COLD but they were troopers and stuck around for the perfect sunset shot over the water :).

It was so much fun hanging out with you both – looking forward to seeing you again very soon and wishing you all the best for your upcoming wedding in April 2017!
