After moving from Long Island in New York to Richmond, Virginia, Megan was the very first bride I sat down with in my new city. YAY!
And it couldn’t have been more perfect. Coffee at Blackhand Coffee Shop in the fan (one of my new FAVORITE local coffee spots thanks to Megan (that I’ve now been to a zillion times – try their chai tea!)) and Megan, an enthusiastic and lovable firecracker!
Like I said – it was PERFECT :).
Megan told me all about how she and Mario had “swiped right” on Tinder and found each other. The catch? Mario was living in Northern Virginia at the time – he happened to open Tinder while stopping for gas in Richmond. Such kismet!
The rest, as they say, is history, with Mario moving to Richmond as things progressed and the couple buying their first home, getting a dog, and getting engaged, all within a matter of a few short months! Talk about checking things off the list ;-).
When it came time to plan their engagement session, Megan and Mario were interested in something a little out of the ordinary – a lifestyle session! I was thrilled M&M opted for something slightly non-traditional and I was definitely up for the task at hand!
You know an engagement session is going to be a good time when it involves coffee and champagne, pocket doors, a snuggle fest, and an adorable pup!
Megan and Mario, you guys are beyond adorable and I loved loved loved hanging out with you (and Baxter)! Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home. I can’t wait to photograph your big day in October on the best anniversary date ever ;-).
