Roadside America

In case you didn’t know. America is FILLED with people with awesome and crazy (and sometimes crazy awesome…and sometimes just plain weird) ideas. Shocking, right?

Also in case you didn’t know…I’m kind of obsessed with all those ideas. And people.

So in preparing for my cross country journey, I set out to see the most ridiculous and fantastical roadside attractions I could possibly see along my 9-week adventure. And I found quite possibly the best app I have ever owned: Roadside America. For a mere few dollars, you too, can have access to the vast array of incredibleness and straight up WEIRDNESS that exists around our country.**

Instead of writing a blog post about each and every Roadside Attraction I visited, I figured I’d compile SOME of my roadside highlights from across the contiguous 48 into one post.

I hope you enjoy!!

Highlights included…

People who construct insane 110+ room houses…complete with the world’s largest carousel…:

**NOTE: Roadside America is in no way compensating me for this blog post or my incessant advertising of their product. I just. Really. Love it.
