I was so excited the first time I met Nastassja. She has such a joyful presence about her. Not only that, she adores photography and grew up with printed photographs of her and her family all over her home. A girl after my own heart <3.
Last week I had the joy of photographing Nastassja and her boyfriend, Harold, as they await the arrival of their sweet baby girl (due on my birthday, May 1st!)
I couldn’t get over how adorable the two of them looked in their matching pink plaid and white outfits. There was NO doubt that they are expecting an adorable little girl!
At one point Harold jokingly mentioned that he wanted to put his little girl’s shoes on his head…and then he was a REALLY great sport when I took him up on it!!
After wandering around Libby Hill Park for a little while, Nastassja was ready for a wardrobe change…into an absolutely stunning gown her Grandmother had purchased her for just this occasion. Aren’t Grandmother’s the best??
Is she not just the most stunning pregnant woman???
Nastassja mentioned how excited she is for her baby girl and how she couldn’t wait to decorate with some of her favorite touches including… TIARAS! Nastassja’s Grandmother has also purchased a tiara for her for all of her most recent birthdays, so it seemed perfect that we should somehow incorporate tiaras into Nastassja and Harold’s session!
I told Nastassja and Harold that my wonderful mother-in-law, Eleanor, created several tiaras for my maternity and newborn sessions. However, since she lovingly crafted them, all of my most recent sessions have been for Baby Boys! I think I was just as excited as Nastassja and Harold to get the opportunity to show off one of these beautiful crowns :).
After a gorgeous afternoon stroll through the park, we finished their session with the most stunning sunset over the hill.
Nastassja and Harold, I loved your enthusiasm and excitement about your photographs and the upcoming arrival of your little princess. She’s going to look beautiful in all of your birthday crowns :). Wishing you all the best and so much happiness!
