I love when clients warn me that they are “the most awkward people in front of the camera.” It usually gives me a chance to prove them wrong :-p. But honestly, I think Tiffany and Tyler proved themselves wrong by being so abso-freakin-lutely adorable during their engagement session last weekend!
Tiffany and Tyler began dating three years ago after meeting online…that is of course, after first happening to meet in person when Tyler bounced at Cha Cha’s, a bar where Tiffany would go out with her friends! While they now consider themselves “social-when-they-feel-like-it” folks, these UNC Chapel Hill fans feel most comfortable and themselves when relaxing at home, enjoying each other’s company.
And honestly – I’m right there with them. (Well, not on THEIR couch – but I am definitely more of a homebody :-p). All that is to say – it’s easy to see why they’d prefer laid back evenings at home with one another – when you see them together, it’s obvious how much they genuinely enjoy being with one another.
I had such a fabulous day spending time with Tiffany and Tyler at their wedding venue, Dellwood Plantation. Dellwood opens their grounds for engagement photography sessions for their brides and grooms – such a great and unique opportunity to be able to photograph in such an elegant setting – twice!
The grounds are simply beautiful – rolling green hills surrounded by wooded forests, the most adorable foot bridge and pergolas, not to mention the adorable plantation home itself. And did I mention the HORSES?? Tiffany was super excited about capturing some moments alongside the horses since she grew up riding…and I think we were able to get quite a few… :).

Love that smile <3

I absolutely ADORE this sign!

You might say there’s a little bit of a height difference between Tiffany and Tyler…you might say…

Tiffany was a little hesitant when I gave Tyler some instructions on his own…I guess maybe she had good reason to be :-p

A few more after the initial shock!

How unique is this stunner!
Tiffany and Tyler, congratulations again! I can’t wait until your gorgeous fall wedding back at the plantation in October!
